ABOUT ABOUT

The 2015 Radnor Hunt Councours d’Elegance is more than a car show. It is a fundraiser and international exhibition of One Hundred Classic Cars and Motorcycles with elegant lines and often elegant lineage to match. Another unique feature of our event is the display of horse-drawn coaches, carriages and our very own Radnor Fox Hounds can be seen. Historic, Classic, Race and Antique vehicles of all era's. Vintage Motorcycles and Cars line the open field of the Radnor Hunt Club in Malvern PA each year for three days in September, attracting over 4,000 visitors of every age and background. We also feature a New Car Automotive Paddock to see the latest makes and models. You can even bring your own car to be part of Motor Sports Park with club style parking.

“Concours d’Elegance was started in Europe in the 1920s in part as a way to introduce the new ladies’ fashions,”. Today, the show is in its nineteenth year – it was started with a group of friends and their 35 cars – incorporates a Friday Night BBQ, Saturday Night Black-Tie dinner party, Chester County Road Rally through the countryside, New Car Dealer's Paddock, Silent Auctions, Market and Vendor Tents, Awards for best of show, Peoples’ choice, Best in class and more. Lets not forget of course, the cars and motorcycles on Sunday. At a standard car show, anyone with a suitable car and the entry fee can drive onto the field and show off his or her car. Here car collectors are invited to exhibit based on certain criteria: If the automobile is unusual, elegant, rare and has a significant provenance, chances are it will be seen at Radnor.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Thorncroft Equestrian Center in Malvern, Pennsylvania. The Thorncroft Equestrian Center is committed to a mainstreaming approach for teaching horseback riding and promoting the development of new and independent therapeutic riding programs, particularly for those with special needs its a wonderful cause http://thorncroft.org
